It remains to be seen, but it has been hinted that Garibay has a bigger leg.

I would be happy with just seeing a 100% conversion rate on kick 45 yards and under including PATs. This makes the offence more dependable and predictable on the score board.

It won't solve all of the team's woes, but it certainly won't add any unnecessary angst to the sidelines and the fan base.

Its definitely been an area of concern, and room for improvement.
Greg the Leg was not the answer, and I dont know if the answer is even on this roster yet, hope so, but lets hope they identify the ability either being there or not early so we can grab first vet kicker cuts if we identify a chance to upgrade.

Bond was moved to IR and they already had one open roster spot.
I knew they were keeping that open for another K. As they said a few weeks ago they would eventually bring in another K.
I was wondering when they were going to move Bond to the IR. So now we know.

I expect that both Lirim and Garibay will be good for this team, whichever one turns out for the better during TC. Both have solid backgrounds and should bring out the best versions of themselves, when all is said and done. This FO has clicked, nicely, to bring in some decent talent, lately. Hopefully, those who can't start might provide solid depth, even if only within the practice squad.

I like Lirim, but I also like Garibay. Lirim and Garibay are very similar: they make most FGs inside 45 yards, plus extra points. On rare occasions they will miss 1 or 2, but usually are very accurate with short to intermediate FGs. It's the 45+ yarders which both miss once in a while. It should be a very good kicking competition, something we have not had in a very long time.

As long as it's a real competition.
