1a.) Mike Jenkins, CB, South Florida
I really think this guy will fall on draft day. If not I can see Aquib Talib falling to us, and either would be great here.
1b.) Jonathan Stewart, RB, Oregon
Seattle is the key as to weather he's available. If they pass on Stewart, then Julius Jones should be inducted into the cowboys ring of honor
2.) Earl Bennett, WR, Vanderbelt
I would love Mario Manningham, because he reminds me of Terry Glenn, but I think he'll be long gone by our 2nd rounder. Bennett has enough speed to stretch the field and be productive as a rookie.
3.) Red Bryant, NT, Texas A&M
Big NT, who really gives our d-line a lot of versatility. Ratliff would now be able to move from tackle to end because of Bryant.
4.) Vince Hall, ILB, Virginia Tech
I really think Hall is gonna be a steal for someone, but will we carry 5 ILBs? Hopefully we do, I'd rather do that than 6 WRs (assuming TG gets cut) or 5 safties. Hall is a tackling machine and should be a decent special teamer as a rookie atleast.
5.) *Traded for Pac Man Jones*
Probably not a move I'd do, but it's a good gamble with little risk
6.) Drew Miller, OL, Florida
A decent C/G prospect, epecially this late in the draft
7.) Dominique Barber, SS, Minnesota
at this point we just need special teams players, so I picked Barber hoping he has his brother's intensity
