Round 2, pick 41: Maurkice Pouncey, C/G, Florida
Dallas trades the 27th pick for the 41rst and a 2011 first rounder, Buffalo leap frogs Minnesota for either Tony Pike or Dan LaFevour.
In all honesty, I wouldn't be upset if we stayed at 27 and selected Pouncey. He has the agility and speed to be a very good LG, once who excells in pass protection and screens/pulls and also has the strength to be a better run blocker than Kosier.
Round 2, pick 59: Terrance Cody, NT, Alabama
Way too much value to pass on him at this point. Due to his weight, he may never be a full time player, but I remember last year he could've come out, but returned to school because he wanted to be the first person in his family to graduate college (I assume he's still on track) and if he can do that, I believe he can dedicate himself enough to be an NFL starter (No rush, he'll play 10-15 snaps, maybe 20 as a rookie).
Round 3, pick 91: Javier Arenas, CB/PR/KR, Alabama
Definately a great fit for us. Lacks the straight line speed to be a #1 or #2 CB, but does have adequate speed and very good ball skills. Gives us much needed CB depth as well as a quality return man.
Round 4, pick 123: Major Wright, FS, Florida
I definately think the first 3 guys will be on the board when we pick, Wright however may be gone. If he's there, he'd be a great pick, but likely will get the same amount of playing time Mike Hamlin got last year.
Round 6, pick 187: Mike Tepper, G/T, California
Missed all of 08' and is a 6th year senior, but his can play multiple positions on the o-line, which is a plus (6-5' 325).
Round 7, pick 219: Patrick Stoudamire, CB, Western Illinois
Good late round prospect. Probably won't run a great 40, but is a good guy to target for development (Much rather have mike mickens as the 5th CB though).
