The schedule didn't do the bears any favors: They travel to NE and play on Monday night, then play an early game in Dallas on Sunday.

The Bears have a Monday night road game against New England followed by a 1PM Sunday afternoon road game in Dallas. The spread is correct. The Bears are bad and get absolutely no break from the schedule makers.

Mac Jones has only 18 fewer pass attempts than Fields.... Jones has been out for the last three weeks. The Bears are a dumpster fire who will struggle to move the ball (hopefully). Cowboys by 14.

I remember that. What an embarrassment. Mitch had more time in the pocket than hard candy at a retirement home.

That was so embarrassing watching Trubisky light us up. He had been struggling entering the game and completely took us apart. He ran one in for a TD and looked like Lamar Jackson. He got a real cocky look on his face and started laughing on the sidelines after he scored. He was having fun out there! He had three TD passes in the game with a passer rating of 115.5. I’m always terrified every time the Cowboys face an average QB that’s struggling. The last time we faced a team and QB like this was probably against the Jets and Sam Darnold. Darnold ended up having a career day. If the Cowboys were to lose and allow Fields to have a big game there’s likely to be a complete meltdown on this board.

Yeah, I was going to bring up Darnold. He was terrible against the Eagles and Patriots, then lights us up after recovering from mono. Josh Allen too. At the time he was very average. A lot of these games we got out to slow starts. The Jets had something like a 3 TD lead.

I think the big difference this year is the pass rush. But if Chicago's coaching staff is probably going to do everything in their power to minimize that threat with a lot of runs and QB runs. I really think they're going to try and RPO us to death.

..thats not what I saw tonight.

His career passer rating is low seventies. His season rating is low seventies. His rating tonight was 85.2, which is mediocre in the modern era. If he can’t create out of the pocket, he’s not effective.

I watched the bears beat NE, and they looked ok tonite. Fields looked better too. So did their defense.

Bears aren't going to lay down...don't be surprised if this is also an ugly one.

Should be a w but might be well closer than 10 points

Bet that point spread will come down some. Chicago spanked NE last night.

Justine Fields is garbage as a pocket passer. But if he breaks the pocket on a busted play or just takes off running, he can be a problem. Or if he's in 3rd and short situations. I'm actually worried about this game because our run D can get tired out if they go on long drives. Plus the Bears defense is pretty good from what I've seen so far this season.
