I still don't think its quite time to pick a quarterback. Outside of the 1st round, they just don't tend to pan out. This team is close to a championship and they should pick players who fill needs and can contribute as quickly as possible.

I hope Jerry doesn't think he can draft some late round pick or journeyman and let him learn behind Romo for a few seasons. Guys like Romo and Kurt Warner are major outliers.

A team can be so close yet so far. 1 game is the reason why the playoffs didnt go through us. I look at that Cards game big time. But JJ is not saying he will draft a qb day 1 or 2 but if the BP is a qb then they will take it. I think that is finally smart approach. We cant always bet on Romo at this moment.

I dunno, they have been spending an awful lot of time with Bryce Petty this off season and are rumored have strong interest in Brett Hundley. I would not rule it out.

I agree Bryce Petty, they may like him alot and think he is coachable. I also wonder about the Winston thing. Its 50/50 now if the Bucs will touch him. There might be a possibility he mY slide but to 27 ?

As long as we rid ourselves of guys like MO, Carr(pay cut or cut) and twill(demotion or cut). Then I will be happy this season.

We have to many bums on the roster holding us back. MO is the ring leader.

You would cut Terrance Williams? That does not make sense at all. He has played well his first 2 years and is entering his 3rd season, which is when wide receivers usually show the most improvement. It is one thing if Dallas finds another receiver that is better than Williams, but there is no reason to cut Williams this off season.

The only QB I really like in this draft is Garrett Grayson. If he's around in the 3rd or 4th round I say take a shot at him. Other than that I'm not looking at a QB. I might look at RB and WR early on in the draft. Both positions are deep. There is no guarantee of keeping Dez.

He can stay around as a number 4. To many times he does not show up.

Let me ask you a question. Do you think T-Will is better than LR?? When he was here?

If you say yes, then why can't T-Will take advantage of his 1 on 1?? Why can't Romo just throw it to T-Will consistently, like he did his 1st year with LR?

Also do you think T-Will is better than Crayton? Crayton was at least consistent.

None of those guys I mentioned, teams would go crazy for. Besides LR, but that was only after exploding with us. So why can't T-Will be consistent? Why doesn't Romo trust to just throw to the bum when he's 1 on 1?

He's holding us back man. Romo sits back for at lmost a day and a half, depending on Dez to break free of his bracket coverages, because he can't rely on his #2 WR. Instead we had to start using 3 WR sets and just pray the Cole B can beat teams with his quickness, because T-Will is ghost.

Terrance Williams is better than Patrick Crayton when Crayton was in his 2nd year in the league. Terrance Williams is better than Laurent Robinson when Robinson was in his 2nd year in the league. If Dallas finds another WR to come in or already has one on the team that develops and surpasses Williams I am all for the best guys out there. I'm not for cutting someone just for the sake of cutting them especially when they have shown growth each season.

Hey I respect you bro, and your opinion.

I just really dislike this guy. I hate the way he likes to use his hands to catch the ball, how aggressive he is at attacking the ball, weather its high up, or away fromnhis body, and I hate the way he can't beat his guy consistently 1 on 1. Romo shouldn't be dancing around hoping and praying dez beats his bracket coverage.

At what spot did the Packers take Rodgers? Somewhere in the 20s.

How old was Favre when they picked Rodgers? Maybe 33?

Those two point align almost perfectly with the Cowboy's current situation.

Listen, I know it's painful to think about drafting a QB and not having him contribute much of anything for a year or two, however, if everything plays out perfectly you get what the Packers have had which will likely be a 25-30 year run of franchise QB play and basically always keeps them in the hunt.

Obviously the tough part of this finding a best-of-decade franchise QB sitting there waiting for you where the Cowboys select.

There won't be an Aaron Rodgers when the Cowboys pick at 27.
Winston and Mariotta are not even Aaron Rodgers.
