Too bad we absolutely suck on NBC, how many freaking games in a row have we lost on SNF?

I guess the country loves to see us lose.

That one is shocking because we were out of playoff contention by that point.

We're 11-11 on NBC. It's not that bad.

At one point, we were 11-4 on NBC telecasts starting in 2006. Okay? We're in a dry spell. But go ahead and blame fluoridated water or Jerry Jones or some other Neuron Paul talking point. Personally, I blame high fructose corn syrup.

We are now 11-11

That is a 7 game losing streak. I did not blame anybody in my post, I simply stated that we suck on NBC (proven by our 7 game losing streak). Not sure why you are getting you panties in a bunch over a post that is 100% factual. Hostile even had a post recently talking about how we needed to improve our record in prime time games, so this is not like some big national secret that you think is getting exposed here dude.

This is like common knowledge, where have you been?

Well, people aren't going to be tuning into the opener to watch the Giants, that's for sure.

Well, like, I've been here too. Like. So, I've been reading the same, like, posts. But, like, it's not all as, like, dire as you make it, like, seem. Like.

Yeah, and you won't take into context that for two of those games, we didn't even have Romo. We had Jon Kitna as our starting quarterback.

Only two of those games were wrapped up in the fourth. The rest were lost by an average of 2.3 points and in the final minute of the game, which has been consistent with the way this Garrett-coach team has played since he took over in the middle of 2010.

And we have been improving in prime time games. In 2010, we lost all of them. In 2011, we won on Monday Night Football, on Thanksgiving, and then on the Saturday Night Football game on NFL Network. That's 3-4 compared to 0-6 -- improvement.

A loss is a loss dude............dont care if it is by 2 points or 20.

Bottom line is we have lost 7 straight games on NBC.

NBC producers are jubilant over having all summer to put together a highlight reel of Romo stumbling and bumbling while Rodney Harrison blames him for last year's collapse. Nobody frames that narrative better than them. It will be so predictable.

Can't wait to see the Phillip River's highlights next year, you know, the one swith 25 INT's and a bobbled kneel down snap that cost them the game.

If I saw any other QB who plays as well or better than him get the same treatment as Romo - I swear I wouldn't say a word.

Since this is a nit-picking thread, the NFL channel's games are not available to a lot of people, although the few who do get to watch it are coast-to-coast.

We lost every single one of them. :banghead:

I predict over 30 million this time.

I was just thinking the same thing, how could this not top the existing list. It would be good for ratings if this cap deal drags on a little. And Jones and Mara end up going toe to toe for a bit in the media.

Its beenalong time since ive wanted the cowboys to kick the crap out of the giants like this game. With all the media surrounding Mara trying to hamstring 2/3 of his division , the giants being the defending superbowl champs ( spit) , i cant think of a better offseason motivator for my cowboys from top to bottom. Hostile i bet you are exactly right at 30+ million views. What justice it would be for Goodell to have to hand Jerry Jones the Lombardi trophy and hail the cowboys as the best team in football. I know im talking about the first game and the last game , but i believe the cowboys are pulling out all the stops to do just that.

It's funny how the NFL is so quick to accuse the Cowboys of violating the "spirit of the salary cap" yet has no problem with gravytraining off their ratings.

By September, the Giants will be a 24 point favorite. :laugh2:

Wait ... so you're saying this is about viewership and the $$$ that come with it? I'm shocked. How shallow.

My faith in the purity of the NFL/NBC connection has been shaken. :laugh2:

Cowboys in Primetime = People Watch. That's a formula the programming decision makers understand.

Why the hell are you guys talking about our record on a particular program station... That has nothing to do if we win or lose. Those stats are coinsidences.

You realize that it is NBC that does the kickoff game, so even though it is not actually Sunday night it is still and NBC aired game and we have lost 7 of those in a row.

Didnt realize I had to spell it out in so much detail.
