Good. We have all the leverage here. If they don't lower the asking price -fine, we'll try and pick up ET next year once a FA. I agree with the article, SEA has more to lose in this deal if they don't budge.
 
Anything more than a 4th is too high, that is what they will get for him in 2 years as a comp pick. Asking for more than that now is ridiculous.

That depends on what he signs for. $9m AAV was around the cutoff this year.

And the idea is that someone needs to do better than that or Seattle has no reason to make a deal. It should be obvious that they want better than that.

Exactly. They wouldn't try this on a team like NE because they know better. I hope Jerry has learned his lesson..
 
If a trade doesn’t go down prior to the draft or during the draft it won’t happen.
