Like many others, it seems to me that this draft has been used to plug holes (and yes to add talent). But the first priority seems to be adding talent to a position of need without weighing talent on both sides of the field. They also seem to be avoiding adding too many players to one positional group (they needed 1-2 corners anyway).

They seem to have adopted what many fans here had been clamoring for. Draft defense to patch some glaring holes and become at the very least average on defense which should be good enough to keep the team in contention with other NFC East teams (which is not a high bar).

They are banking on the offense having dominant enough stuff without adding major pieces.

Hope it works and the team succeeds in the playoffs with more than just a cursory "we made the playoffs" visit.
