Drama sells if you barely miss the playoffs

Drama sells if you get knocked out early in playoffs

This is sports media driven.

I don't even think Jerry wants to make it to Conference Championship...that's not enough Drama.

He wants people screaming at the TV, griping to their co-workers, going online and becoming unhinged at the QB and management and coaches.

This is beyond the sport.

My question is, assuming this is all real, what is stopping deep pocket fund managers from buying teams and replicating Jerry's business model?

Money is the root of all evil, they say. Why is Jerry the chosen one? Why can't others copy this model for profit? And why haven't they?

Is that question even able to be answered?
