Although I think we will beat the Deadskins. The makeup of this team concerns me. This team need to get a quick start out of the gate. Confidence may be lacking.

I think they we are starting to be underrated.

Sure, initially everyone climbed onto our bandwagon...but even though EVERYONE agrees that preseason is meaningless, our less than stellar performances have seemingly caused many of the fair-weather mediots to jump right back off.

That's fine by me...I would rather let everyone focus their attention on the Packers and the Saints.

I hope they get a good start out of the gate. That first regular season game loss to the Giants last year in our new stadium was painful. I was so bummed out after that game. Then, when Miles Austin made that game-winning TD in OT against the Cheifs, it seemed to add some octane. They all cleared the sideline to dogpile him in the endzone (one of my favorite moments last year even though they looked terrible during that game). Hopefully, if they can go to Washington and kick their butt, it will fire them up.

they were overrated, now the media has backed off. now SI has dallas 2nd behind the giants, but time will tell.

I hope the media continues to overlook, downgrade, bash, whatever. The Cowboys must prove their worth.

This team is plenty confident.

Don't listen to the Media. How many of these guys picked the Saints last year and how many of these hacks picked the Bears last year. That says it all...

Either you're on board or not... I think Dallas has a strong team, let's just see where they go from here.

If the line collapses, the team could lose confidence. I don't like Colombo at RT. I think he's shot. I'm concerned that we lost Phillips, who was just starting to develop. To me, I think our defense will be outstanding. I think our offense may have it's struggles.

The good thing is I think we can get behind our RBs if we ever get in trouble. I think people underrate our running game and overrate our passing game sometimes.

I know we have one of the best quarterbacks, but I think he'd be even better with a coordinator who knew how to effectively mix the run into the game.

This current team is overrated by our fanbase, but what team isn't.

That's my biggest concern...

Why is that?

We are returning almost all starters and coming off a playoff victory.

JMO but we should be going into this season with the most confidence of any Cowboy team in the last 15 years.

What happened in a weeks time?

As we do every year as Cowboys fan. We overract to everything. Starting now I will assure you Cowboys will beat the Deadskins. I really believe after the Dez injury players become cautious. But that is now behind them. Thursday game means nothing but for the coaches to decide which rookies/FA will not make the team.

The veterans are ready...Trust me.

Did you learn something valuable about this team in a week?

I must live in a parallel universe, where we were crushed in the last play-off game. Where 4/5 of our OL were used and abused, the same OL that was used and abused all pre-season.

So yes, I agree, we may have confidence issues.

Hope for the best, It's all we can do.

Romo doesn't look to confident in his offensive line. Specifically the middle of that line. When they were interviewing him on the sideline during the last preseason game, he looked skittish when they were talking about it.
