Ideal scenario for us
Ideal will be for Detroit to win, and Tampa Beat Philly. Then Detroit and the 49ers can beat eachother up.

I think I screwed that up. We need the Rams and Tampa to win.

The best game of the day will be tonight with Buffalo, and Miami. I havent taken any betting games the last few weeks, but I'll say Buffalo over Miami. That might just be the kiss of death for Buffalo.

I agree Dallas is the second best team in the NFC, but the Rams and Detroit are the hottest teams in the NFC
Without CeeDee's fumble through the end zone, and the phantom tripping call, Detroit would have been beaten 27 - 13. It wasn't as close as the score made it appear. The Cowboys were the better team.

Go back a week, and without the Luepke fumble, the Cowboys would have beaten the Dolphins also. A couple of bad bounces made the Cowboys look more vulnerable than they are. If the Cowboys didn't lose that game to the Dolphins, the Niners would have had to truly suit up today to avoid losing the #1 seed.

Seriously, the Cowboys record is 12-5, but they are just a couple of bad bounces or missed calls away from being 14-3. The Cowboys were only beaten in 3 games this season - Cardinals, Niners, and Bills. The other two were losses, but due to Cowboys mistakes, not because the other team earned the victory. Of course, that happens over the course of a season. But let's not pretend that the Cowboys aren't a very good team. They deserve to be ranked just behind the Ravens and Niners as the 3rd ranked team in the NFL, and are tied for the 2nd best record in the NFL with the Niners and Lions.

Which is all to say that the Rams and Lions are NOT hotter than the Cowboys right now.

We’ve played a lot better since that game with a hiccup in Buffalo. We can do this
That Buffalo game wasn’t a *hiccup*. It was the reality of how low this team can play. Hopefully we see that again but this Dallas so you never know.

Yes, Rams and TB to win
Rams might actually beat the niners
Then we would have a home NFCCG

Gilmore says he'll be good to go, but we'll know more tomorrow. Maybe the score of this game kept him from coming back in.
Hey Mr. Smith played a game with a separated shoulder and showed up in the playoffs as well,

so yeah if the dude doesn't need surgery I expect him to come in he doesn't have to tackle well but I need him to cover well that's it I need Gilmore to be out there injured or not we need all hands on deck it really got scary when Lewis started having an issue too,,

I actually think the Rams will give Detroit a really good game, especially without LaPorta for the Lions.
Who is more likely to be able to upset San Fran out there?

San Fran's possible opponents are the Bucs, Eagles and Rams (Packers obviously too but I am looking at it from the perspective we win).

TB has zero shot. Rams? Ehhhh. They won today but that was a battle of backup QBs. Philly might have the best shot because I think they are the most talented of the three remaining teams. But the odds they can rebound from the last month is extremely small.

It isn't the Eagles. It's the Rams.

Eagles quit today. Just waiting to be put out of their misery.
They are going to lose to Tampa. I would not be surprised to see ****** Bag Sirianni fired after this. I might make the two hour drive to Tampa with a bunch of transplanted Eagle fans and watch them curse and cry as Tampa kicks the snot out of them.

Best case scenario, the Rams take down the Lions. Then the Rams go to San Francisco, where they won today. The Niners have to play the Rams for the 3rd time this year, and the Rams are hot. Cowboys get the winner of the Eagles/Buccaneers game instead of the Lions. I don't think anyone thinks the Eagles or Buccaneers can take down the Niners, but the Rams just might do it. That would potentially give the Cowboys a home game for the NFC Championship game - assuming they take care of business in the first two home playoff games.

At that point, the Cowboys would be favored to win the NFCCG, and get to the Super Bowl.
Cowboys > Packers
Rams > Lions
Bucs > Eagles

Rams > Niners
Cowboys > Bucs

Cowboys > Rams

Cowboys > Browns

The Rams aren't talented enough IMO. The Eagles have sucked but they could get Hurts to pull a game out of his butt with that OL. They certainly have more than enough weapons on O to score on San Fran if they have their **** together. But defensively, whew boy, they got issues.

But I guess Stafford could also just pull one out of his butt.

I’m a little scared of the Rams. I don’t know what to make of the Packers. And I think the Bucs and Eagles are terrible. If the Rams beat the Lions, then we’d play the winner of a terrible Bucs/Eagles. Otherwise, we’d play the Lions, who aren’t that scary either, especially if LaPorta is done.

There’s really no excuse that we don’t make the Conference Championship. It would be a disappointment otherwise. The teams I can really see giving us trouble are the 49ers and Rams, who we couldn’t face until the Conference game anyway.
