I don't buy into the NFL as a whole conspiring against the Cowboys, although I may say a few ill advised things to that order in the heat of the moment. I do believe there is bias on the individual official level though and I don't think it's done on a conscious level.

Now excuse me as I go add a few more aluminum spikes to my hat.

Also - aside from the playoffs.

If you go back and look at TV ratings this year.

I would bet the Cowboys were in 8 of the top 10 viewership rated games in the NFL this year.

So how many SNF games next year...6-8??

There's a limit of the number of prime time games any team is allowed in each year. If I miss my guess it's 8.

I think that's Thursday games / Sunday Night / Monday night.

Sunday Night Chicago Bears September 25.
Sunday night Philadelphia Eagles October 30
Thursday November 24 - Washington Commanders
Thursday December 1 - Minnesota Vikings
Sunday Night December 11 - NY Giants
Sunday Night December 18 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Monday Night December 26 - Detroit Lions.

There may have been another National game when no other teams were playing late Sunday.

How often does a divisional playoff game beat out the conference title games?

NFL is hustling backwards by antagonizing us.

Cowboys/Packers - 28.2 overnight rating (48.5 M viewers)
Packers/Falcons - 27.4 overnight rating
Patriots/Steelers - 27.6 overnight rating

You'd think the league would learn to have the refs fix games in OUR favor.

Yeah, but this is personal payoff money for greed of a few as opposed to the success of the league for all.

It happens everywhere.

I would not doubt it will be 5, however I think their own rules will not allow that, intially. Well unless they changed them. Used to be no more than 6 National televised games prior to the flex scheduling and change of AFC / NFC on their own networks.

It will start with 3 minimum, flexed to 4-5. Plus a Monday night, and a Thursday night, and the T-Day game. so therefore giving 7 or 8 national games, not to mention the 4 or 5 late game national televised games. Not sure if those count as part of that number anymore or not.

As we know the NFL dictator and his butt partners make things up as they go.

No surprise here. The Cowboys are the only sure thing when it comes to tv ratings. It's always been that way. I'm sure the networks are as disappointed as we are that they didn't advance in the playoffs.

I have a feeling Super Bowl ratings are going to disappoint as well. People seem to forget that the NFL was having major rating problems before the dynamic duo saved the league.

Atlanta doesn't have a huge fan base and a lot of people are sick of seeing the Patriots every year. Not to mention Lady Gaga?

I'm sure it'll do fine but disappoint compared to past years.

Lady Gaga is almost the only reason to watch the game,,,
