Whatever happened to the dominate running teams the cowboys used to produce, we have two very good running backs yet, we fail to establish the run in every game I have seen this season, personally if we would of established a running game against the pats, I dont think we would of had that many INT's bring the Running game back to dallas.

Romo only threw 1 INT against the Pats. And it was late in the 4th when he forced a pass.

dont erase your post ?

But anyway, We fell behind early against the Pats so we never really had a chance, and then we tried to when we had the lead in the 3rd but all the momentum changed on that 4th down holding penalty.

Other than that, we havent really needed to establish the run.

sorry, still traumatized about that pats game, i meant the Bills game, and "we haven't really needed to establish the run" isn't one of the NFL's most popular football strategies ( well maybe except for the vikes, because there qb sucks)
Romo passing out of the endzone against the bills, just to turn it over, is just an example what can happen to you if you don't use the running game to make a little breathing room for the offense, theres many reasons why establishing the run is good for your offense, I'm sure most of you already knwo many of them so i'm not gonna point out every single reason. point is were missing this in our offense, Romo passed let me see for 32 passes in the first half???? is this right...geez, I thought Wade wanted to have a "balanced" attack, doesnt seem so balanced too me.....but i will just wait and hear what you guys have to say, with all your wisdom about football...so go on keep going

I too feel this way a bit. It seems like everyone is passing way more than normal around the league.

I felt that Julius was actually really running well against Buffalo, and I thought they should have fed the ball more to both running backs. But we kept calling pass. If we played smash mouth and controlled the clock more in that game (dare I say Parcells Football) I think we wouldn't have been in the precarious situation we ended up being in.

Julius also had a few very impressive runs vs the Patriots on one of our TD drives, and he was charged up. But we went back to the pass and didn't score again in the game.

Garrett has clearly shown he's very pass happy. It's worked so far, but I think if we don't become more balanced, it's going to come back and bite us in the butt.
