So...you're saying we should replace Smith with Bass full-time? That's what that chart seems to indicate.

That's what it says. Bass for Smith. Maybe we can get something in a trade for Smith.

Seriously, though, if Bass plays well and Guyton does not at LT, I would consider moving Smith to LT when he comes back. I know he's an All-Pro guard, but we need our best five on the field, whoever that may be.

It's about time. Do you know how many left guards have made the Hall of Fame with a losing win-loss record? It's pitiful.

So, what I have learned about our OL situation since our Pro Bowl guard went down:

- Bass and his 29 snaps have become a proven fill-in
- The guy called up today to play OL, who nobody has heard of is a reliable backup to our backup
- The guy we traded for from the Steelers who has spinal fusion surgery can do just as good a job as well

Wonder how so many teams missed out, and I guess we don't need to spend any future draft capital either because Guyton is the 2nd cominig of my man Tyron!!

6+ yards per play, I think the run game will do just fine. That’s a pretty decent average don’t you think?

Running plays are 4.3 ypa with Tyler smith and 4.0 with Bass.

So a slight dip running game wise. Makes the run game up the middle a little less efficient.

But Bass is a competent player. He will be fine for a few weeks

They can’t afford anymore OL injuries though.

Hey Kwyn, I'd almost agree accept... Dak is susceptible against interior rush. Bass can fill all 3 spots and all 3 interior OLs have missed time. Keagan looked solid in preseason, but he didn't make the team.

Excellent.....now we can argue about O-Linemans win/loss record to settle debates like we do with quarterbacks.

BTW, its rumored that TJ Bass is actually the naked baby that was used on the cover of Nirvanas "Nevermind" album.......could be useful if one finds themselves on Jeapordy.

I think Bass is going to do just fine.

But not to throw cold water on the YPP with Bass in there, he was on the field when Javonte Williams broke that 66 yard run against the Jets and Dak threw a 43 yard TD pass to Pickens.

Those two plays alone might have bloated the average.

All QB's hate interior rushes. Pressure from either side can be rolled away from. Up the gut; there's nowhere to go. Having said that Leverett also looked solid in preseason and looked like he handled center duties a little better than Keegan. So my guess is they kept the guy with more position flex.

This. Bass is a great back up OLinemen to have though. I was hoping we get the run game going and less relying on Dak and his arm.

Well, let’s see,
The nurse practitioner, told me she sent a request over to the Gastro
When I got there today, the cardiologist said she never got the referral to send it over to Gastro
And then she said she would send it
Called Gas they’ve never received anything,
Wife was writing down the fax number, and I hung up before she could finish
Yelling at me telling me I need to call him back and get the number
I just got off the phone, with Gastro asking them to send over a referral to cardio
I could spit nails right now

I spent an hour and a half with BCBS today jsut trying to change my primary care doctor because their app, where I have to actually make the change, said he didn’t exist in network even though I could see him plainly on their website

Our healthcare system sucks, lol
