Neither one will play and thats fine, we can still win this week without both of them...

It don't matter none. TNew, as much as I would love him back on the starting team, needs time. He's too valuable to rush into service.

As for Ellis, he is a nonfactor and will remain one for the next year.

:hammer:

Sit newman until hes healed. If that means after the bye then so be it. The Rams and the Patriots are the only teams with WRs and QBs capable enough to even warrant the need for Newman.

IMo I think Newman misses half the season at the very least...dont wait or expect him back anytime soon.

I was really hoping TNew would be back in time for the Rams game. IF he misses practice this week (and the game) and skips practice next week, that would be 7 weeks of rest right?

Yes- but plantar fasciitis can last months. Each case is different. I have had it twice and 6 months was the shortest wait for me. It HURTS.

Imagine getting Newman Glenn Tank and possibly Ellis back for the second half.

I have seen circumstances in the past where...if the replacements are playing well, this upsets the chemistry. Not saying I don't want these guys back, but just a little concern on my part.

No that means until next year...plantar fascities (sp.) takes months to heal and taking a couple of years is not uncommon, especially if there is a tear. I would almost gaurntee you that Newman will not be rid of it until next September....Still want to sit him until he is healed?

I agree......we only need them ready for the PATS and that might not be enough.

They should have just put Ellis on PUP when they signed Tank instead of releasing Nate Jones. I question what he is doing right now. I doubt he will have any impact if he was playing anyhow.

all depends on the d-line

no pressure = foolish looking secondary... again.... and this time by a mental midget
