You know the irony with that though there's some players like Malachi Lawrence They were saying that he stopped rushing and gave up and was being lazy the same with the other couple defenders and what they don't understand is that's what they were doing they were waiting to make sure there wasn't a backside cut so they slowed their pursuit down to almost a walk and they were waiting that's called breaking down At least that's what it was called when I played high school football.. Some of our guys are being called lazy and not giving a full effort when they don't realize that some of those guys can't over pursue and they needed to stay because now they are on the backside of the play and make sure there wasn't a cutback before they can go help in pursuit..
that's only effective if you actually have more than 3 yards per carry you can't just run into a wall all game if you can beat their back end like we did with Washington and the Giants had we had more possessions we were gonna light up the Giants too easily the Cowboys scored 30 if our defense just gives us one or two more stops but the point is you can't keep asking this Oh see the play caller to just run to satisfy time of possession and you as a fan I mean fans keep calling for it they are very effective at lighting up the back ends if those guys are more weak on the back end what have you been told in the past if it's working you don't stop doing it until they can stop it you just keep throwing the ball because that is our strength and if that is their weakness you can abandoned the run.
That’s not completely true. If they manage to slow Henry down but can’t contain Lamar’s running, we’re still in deep ish

You know what that's so ridiculous whenever I hear that why does he just get really angry that the Titans gave up on him what he should be happy is he landed on a team allegedly that's better he's in a better situation than he would have been in Dallas especially if he would have been here that first year It was a horrible year we we would have not won any more games with him here and by the way that goes for right now he's not gonna help us win more games on offense we got the offense covered yes he probably improves the run game a little bit but here's the caveat to Everyone needs to understand people didn't realize it they thought Derek Henry was gonna fall off a Cliff They thought maybe you get one more Good year out of them a couple average ones and it was over that is how it typically works especially for running backs...
