Cowboys playoff choker Tony Romo should be ashamed not proud of his seven-hour-round

The only reason the round took several - not seven - hours was because its a TV show. My production company is involved in the post production on the show which airs as an hour-long special on NBC. Just to set the facts straight. In between holes, they did interviews and other featurettes for the special.

thats not true at all.

He is just a choker who cant get enough air time.

Plus Justin timberlake was break dancing after every shot. It takes a long time to put all that cardboard away.

This article (if you can call it that)s an example of yellow jouranlism at it's worst. It purports to a self-righteous mentality, (speeding up a slow golfer) but instead focuses on his performance in another sport, and even then avoids using facts to support his argument. His outrage is clearly designed to get a rise out of Cowboy's fans and Romo fans in particular. This is a desparate attempt to get people to read his crap. Let's all do everyone a favour and just ignore this dork and his blaaaag.

It's funny, I've been kinda following this for the past few weeks on mike&MIKE. I guess they set the course up the way they would if it were the Open. Set it up to play like they would if it were the Pro's playing it rather then these 4 guys. The Pro's were saying that none of them would break 100 with the difficulty of the course, the cameras and all the rest. I think Romo did a very nice job. JMO

I believe it was Tiger Woods who said that no 10 handicapper could break 100 (though he might've meant Oakmont).

In fairness to his comments, Romo's like a 2 or 3.

:laugh2: , It´s not that difficult to see this guy has serious problems, get a life bro, and by the way he must be a huge eagles, Giants or Commanders fan.
Hey an 84 in US Open conditions is a very good score for Tony.

Wouldn't be surprised if Romo didn't already know what he's going to do after football (once he helps win multil Cowboy SBs) & it wouldn't be singing country western songs either.

WOW!! How pathetic. And this guy is supposed to be a golf reporter? Any golfer or anyone that plays golf knows that the guy with the lowest score is the least likely guy to hold up a foursome. Especially one with scores of 98-100-110+ in the group.

Did TR1 from the enemy's site write this? Sounds like something stupid he'd say.

Wow. Some people are just so petty and jealous they feel the need to write articles like this.

Seven hours for a round in which the foursome of Romo, real celebrity (and all-around good golf guy) Justin Timberlake

courageous regular guy John Atkinson basically had the course to themselves.

And playoff choker Tony Romo... LOL... I guess it was Romo's fault he shoot a 84 while the other 3 guys shot what...........then again the other guys ran up in shot while TR took his dear old time..... Cowboy Haters everywear..........

i'd say the guys that shot 100+ and were probably living in the rough all day were the cause for the 7 hour round and not the guy that shot an 84 and presumably was in the fairway most often.

Uh, yeah.
