Indeed. We kidded ourselves, thinking we could replace Zeke with his back ups and nothing would change. Losing Smith just exacerbated the situation.

The Cowboys are a fragile team. Everything has to be just right to win.

We didn’t kid anything a lot of us said it wasn’t gonna happen. It was laughable hearing people say the offense could be even better. Riiiiight, oh and I’m sure drafting Ramsey would’ve made a difference yesterday. (Not saying you said that).

Keep in mind that last year was also a "weaker" year in terms of the NFC. 11-5 got Atlanta a first round bye when other years, that may barely win the division. In 2014, there were five teams that won 11 or more games. That could be the case again this season with Philly, Minnesota, New Orleans, Carolina, and LA already at 7 wins. I think 9-7 won't be enough for a wildcard and 10-6 may not be guaranteed either.
