* The Cowboys did not ignore the defensive side of the ball, talking with the agent for recently released linebacker Joey Porter.
* Another possibility at right tackle is Kansas City's Jordan Black, although a visit has not been set up yet.

I'll be happy with porter, and colombo, then fill in from their. We can add thru the draft.

Black is NOT as good as Columbo is at tackle- he is a better guard.

You watch the Chiefs on a consistent basis?

I'd be interested to see how Black plays on the Right side.

I have watched the Chiefs on about 5 games this year. Black was slow and vulnerable to speed rushers; and he did not get real good pushes on rushing plays.

someone posted on another board that Black gave up 13 sacks last year as a tackle...not sure if those numbers are accurate, but if they are, he's just as bad as Petitti was.

I'd be verrrrry upset if we replace Columbo with Black.

We don't want Black, he's terrible.. One of my friends is a huge KC fan and he's always complaining about how bad Black is. He equates him to Petitti..

i think people might want to check how many of them sacks were to the chargers. i know they brought the house at the chargers this yr.

Black was kind of obvious- and the Chargers game was not the one that really stood out. Everyone I saw - Black was getting beaten or having problems.

I happened to watch the Chiefs games that were televised nationally.

And he gave up sacks in each game I watched.

I guess I should just give him the benefit of the doubt.

I have seen every KC game the last 15+ years. Black is awful. He sucked this year, and he sucked last year. He was by far the weakest link their OL had the last couple years. LJ and the Chefs offense didn't really pick it up in 2005 until Roaf came back and booted Black back to the bench. Last year it took a record breaking number of carries for LJ to get his yards, and the QBs were constantly harassed, and the main reason for the latter, and a big reason for the former is the play of one Jordan Black.
