If Bland plays, me guess he is gonna slowly be eased back in about 20 snaps, nickel packages ..i actually expected Deron AFTER the bye week after the Lions game.

Could it also be the club is that much worried about the Lions adept pass attack with St. Brown and Williamson ? All the available help we can get ?

Why wouldn't we assume that Kendricks... at his age... falls into the same category as Zack? Vets get Wednesdays off around here, no?

Edit: Sorry, @DCBoysfan ... didn't mean to borrow any of your thunder... overlooked your post at first.

On paper, it looks great to have our two All-Pro CB's.

However, there is typically a period after being cleared in which the player is tentative when it comes to making full use of the repaired area. It's rare for a player to just jump in where he left off.

I would give Bland at least another four weeks before fully restoring his normal number of snaps in a game. I think Diggs was just getting his swagger back.

The Cowboys need to survive their first eight games with at least an even record. This would require them to defeat either the Lions or 49ers in their next two games.

At that point, more previously injured players begin trickling back into the lineup and the younger players, particularly the rookies begin to become more productive.

My prediction stands at 4-4 midway through the season with a 6-3 record the rest of the way as they slowly build momentum going into the playoffs.

I further predicted that, although their record won't be the same as the previous three seasons, they will have more potential to go further in the playoffs.

Unless Bland is 100%, seems he’d be inactive with return after the bye.

The bones are either completely healed or not. The fact that he's a full participant would suggest everything is good structurally. The only question would be conditioning, which is probably why Stephen made the comment that Bland would play but likely on a snap count.

I'm more curious to see who gets those 4th CB snaps b/t Carson and Oruwayrie.

All the Dallas DB's get plenty of work on their receiving skills against Dak in practice.
