Overall Kendricks has been fine. He only shows up in a bad way when he has to chase the play and those wheels aren't moving like they used to...

that is good news but I sure hope that AO doesn't lose his corner job I mean I know he's gonna have to move down for bland but in my opinion he's played better than Carson and we need to get him on the field hopefully if we're playing a lot of nickel and dime that this kid gets his snaps because I like him... Dude kendricks is a what I classify as a super veteran and he will hardly practice the rest of this year and it should be like that he's got a lot of miles on him and we need him fresh for every game he could probably be listed like a lot of other veteran linebackers or defenders in this league that's played as long as him are always gonna have some kind of ailment going on...

I love the veteran approach like they did with tyron Smith you gotta treat all your veterans like that to make sure they have enough energy to be up for the game every week..

I don't know what you've been watching but the man is playing great for what the expectations were you know the bargain bin basement linebacker ,how's it white guy you know what's his name Devin white the linebacker a lot like Leonard or whatever his name was that went over to the eagles as well ...

show me all the linebackers that were taken in FA last year and then you look at the cost and tell me again how you think Kendricks is just been fine or average...

no he's in a lot of games except for one been absolutely what we needed as a middle linebacker green dot leader the man is playing better than what your eyes are telling you and when he's next to our young player you do realize he's helping guys like Liafu grow and get in the right spots.

Let me just finish by saying he's the only person on our roster right now that can play middle linebacker with the green dot and he's doing it very well if he's out for a game or more are we losing for the year we're screwed have you talked about how to try to fill a position we have none on this team that can do his job we would need to go out and get another guy I know we've had injuries and other groupings we've ever cover up he's one that would be tough to cover up because he's a leader he's the play collar he's the one that knows his defense backwards and forwards because he's played in it before he would be a big loss but by the way his injuries are probably minor and he's gonna play but they just listing him he's getting veteran rest is what he's getting....

He's basically been Sean Lee of this defense and we need him to be that...

On paper, it looks great to have our two All-Pro CB's.

However, there is typically a period after being cleared in which the player is tentative when it comes to making full use of the repaired area. It's rare for a player to just jump in where he left off.

I would give Bland at least another four weeks before fully restoring his normal number of snaps in a game. I think Diggs was just getting his swagger back.

The Cowboys need to survive their first eight games with at least an even record. This would require them to defeat either the Lions or 49ers in their next two games.

At that point, more previously injured players begin trickling back into the lineup and the younger players, particularly the rookies begin to become more productive.

My prediction stands at 4-4 midway through the season with a 6-3 record the rest of the way as they slowly build momentum going into the playoffs.

I further predicted that, although their record won't be the same as the previous three seasons, they will have more potential to go further in the playoffs.

nah disagree. will take one half maybe this one game for this injury, a foot injury like his is easily tested by just running, cutting, and practicing hard, he will be confident out of the box but game shape is the only factor IMHO.. which is great because the bye and SF FULL GO!!

I think he's been fine. I don't think I said he's a liability or anything. Only thing that shows up at times is the loss of speed/quickness when having to chase outside of the confines of the box. That is to be expected for a MLB at age 32 with 10 seasons under his belt. Yes, getting a smart instinctual LB like him who knows Zimmers defense and can still play for essentially the vet minimum was a steal. Never disputed that.

IM saying he far above the fine line given the expectations of his bargain bin FA label.. those fans were wrong so far...

I’m really down on him. After the first game it seems he hasn’t been good. Maybe I’m wrong. Can you tell me why feel this way?

Because he's slow, picks the wrong hole at times, and doesn't have much thump. However, as bad as this sounds Kendricks has been a positive for the defense, glad to have him. If Kendricks wasn't able to go in a game I'd like for Buddy Johnson to get the start at Mike, but Liafau would probably start.

It would be good to get the CB depth back. Maybe Carson could be a gunner on punt team, and pay some dues...tired of seeing WRs doing that job.
