Signed by Cowboys Cowboys Practice Squad Moves - Drop Two, Add Three

I think it was Russell's motor that got him canned. He would look good on one play, and awful the next. Marinelli hates people that don't go 100% every play.
From what I watched on him in the preseason, he did not seem to loaf. He was usually chasing plays after he got completely stoned at the line of scrimmage.

There are some decent players there. Not sure what point you think you were proving other than gosh darn it the good ones went before our pick with Russell.

There are more than a few starters listed.

another Mairnelli failed project, one thing he was supposed to do is help in talent acquisition but he has been terrible even there.

Who said Marinelli was supposed to help in talent acquisition? Based on what? Whoever said that is clueless.

Stephen jones for one,he basically said Marinelli vetoed Floyd because he doesnt fit our system We have ignored so many good DTs in the high Rds because they dont fit the system and yet we have nothing to show for on our DLine except Crawford and Tank.

He has had his input.

That led to the pass on Sharif Floyd because he was not "quick twitch" enough.

He was directly involved.

We would have drafted Donald if he fell, but besides that what other DT's have we ignored ? Just curious.

From what I've read it was because he just couldnt finish.

we took Escobar when we could have taken Hankins or bennie Logan but those guys were supposedly too big for Marinelli's "scheme".

A scheme is fungible. Especially with an old man in charge.

I'm with ya on Logan. Hankins not so much. But yeah, Logan would have been a good one

Reddyuta I agree 100% with you for years we didn't draft O Linemen in the first round then we changed our thinking and look how that's worked out I say we start drafting 1 tech and 3 techs in the first round and lets see how that works out

Do you think Floyd has lived up to where he was drafted? Also, he was reported to be lazy before the draft. I ask because I live in Vikings territory, and I haven't heard much positive in regards to him.

That was his write up in the draft as well. Had the athletic ability but it never translated to production
