You know what’s incredible about Deuce. I think he’s legitimately something NEW in the NFL. He’s shiftier and smaller than sproles with amazing hands and better instincts as a runner. He’s impossible to see behind the line.

You guys want a short yardage back? Watch this play. Imagine him and Leupke in the backfield. How would you handle a handoff, read option, or play action to Leupke and a possible edge toss or throw to the flat or a screen from that formation in short yardage to Deuce. The situation is impossible. You can’t just crash down or blitz cause you’d be killed by a screen or toss. I’d submit that deuce is a scarier short yardage back than Zeke. He can actually squirt through in a legit run because the defense can’t afford to commit to the run out of fear of him taking a screen to the house

That dude shot out of a cannon! He is gonna show out this season given time. I realize he is gonna have some negative plays but his upside is so much more. Excited for Deuce.

Excited about the jump Jalen Tolbert has made this offseason. Hopefully it carries over into the regular season. If he can be as good or better than Cedric Wilson was as the 4th WR a few years ago, this offense will be very good in the passing game.
