They could go cornerback and take Alabama’s Patrick Surtain II. Or perhaps linebacker with Penn State’s Micah Parsons. Maybe even an offensive tackle like Penei Sewell, assuming he falls that far.

But there’s a Door No. 4 for the would-be No. 4 overall selection: Dak Prescott’s replacement at quarterback. Such as BYU’s Zach Wilson, whom Pro Football Network believes is a legitimate candidate to don the star next season.

The true junior has set career highs in completion percentage (74.3), yards (2,724), TDs (26), and QB rating (205.3) amid a still-incomplete 2020 campaign. He’s considered the fourth-best QB in an extremely top-heavy pool that includes Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, Ohio State’s Jake Fields, and North Dakota’s Trey Lance.

If the team felt they aren't even close on a compromise with Dak and his representation then I'm okay with us taking Wilson or Fields at 4.

Wilson is a gamer. He'll survive similar to how Romo and Dak did (on their own).

Fields is a talent, I just don't think we have the coaching that will maximize his strengths.

I agree with you but they need to look into Wilson medical history because I think he had a significant injury last year. The only game that I saw Wilson play, I was impressed. With that being said the only qb that I would want in this draft over Dak would be Lawrence but there is no way at the present time we have a shot at him unless a Christmas miracle happens and the Jets and the Jags start winning.

If we were forced to take a QB that isn't Lawrence, I'd take Wilson. I'd rather pay Dak than take Fields.

If we like Dak then we should like Fields as well.

I haven't completely came around on Fields. I'm trying though. I don't see a bust. I just don't see a prolific passer.

For me I think Zach Wilson and Trey Lance are more interesting.

If Dallas let's Dak Prescott go for any of the top tier QBs even Trevor Lawrence ,they will regret it

I'm probably wrong but I've had a gut feeling about Wilson at 4.

I think it's possible that Dallas takes Wilson or someone trades up to 3 to get him and Sewell falls to Dallas. I can see Cincinnati trying to stockpile picks right now.

I feel like he'll be the #2 QB taken.

So, gone to the jungle of Jacksonville

Wouldn't mind the pick at all if they can't come to a long term deal with Dak by the draft.
