This isn’t completely true. Romo had a cap hit of $20+MM in 2016. He also had considerable cap hits in 2017 & 18 although I don’t remember what they looked like.

It’s a big reason why I’m not a fan of continuing to restructure daks deal. When you eventually want (or have) to move on you’re gonna be stuck with a ton of dead money instead of taking advantage of another rookie qb deal.

That non call stings. But I won’t forget we had a chance before regulation to end it with a TD drive. We got conservative and didn’t get it done. That GB defense was atrocious that season. Dallas should have put up 40 easy on them. We saw it the following week when Atlanta put up 48.
