My friend had to drive his wife to the airport and he listened to the game and said it was incredible. Brad Sham was on top of his game today.

There is a Cowboys app for smart phones. You can listen to the radio call for free. I usually pause my DVR for about 5 seconds at the start of the game to sync the tv broadcast with the radio. My wife thinks I am crazy, but I plug in only one of the ear pieces so I can listen to both the tv and radio broadcasts.

I love listening to Brad and Babe, and Kristie Scales is the best sideline reporter in the game. She always has the latest injury reports, some of them not so pleasant. Apparently she had a front row seat to Tyron Crawford losing his lunch multiple times into a trash can.

I can't stand to listen to Babe. The guy is horrible and as irritating as they come. I wish they would give Sham a new guy to work with.

When I had had enough of Joe Buck yesterday, I went to the app on my Ipad and listened to the play by play with Brad and Babe. Yes, it's about 4-5 seconds earlier than the tv guys, but I didn't care. (I will do the DVR trick you talked about in the future). These guys are good! You get more pertinent info from them than you do from the tv guys, especially Buck. Take for example the infamous flag pick up on the PI call. While Buck & Aikman were astonished the flag was picked up, Sham and Laufenberg mentioned the hands to the face and face masking done by the receiver as a possibility for the switch. I went back and listened to the Buck call of the game later, and found it to be inferior to the radio guys. Sham's been doing this for a long time....he follows a long list of great Cowboy's announcers, IMO.

I couldn't disagree more. I think Babe is not only fun to listen to, he knows his stuff. He has a remarkable track record of anticipating the play call.

I've loved listening to Brad since his days as the color analyst along side Verne Lundquist and I really enjoyed the days of listening to Brad and Dale Hansen (although that could have a lot to do with the quality of the Cowboys teams at the time), but the combination of Brad and Babe is great IMHO.
