Cowboys RB Lance Dunbar (knee) returned to practice Tuesday, splitting first-team reps with Phillip Tanner.

Dunbar's "minor procedure" Monday must have been nothing more than having his knee drained. If Felix Jones (knee) can't go on Thanksgiving, Dunbar figures to split the workload with Tanner. Neither back would be more than a flex option versus the Commanders.

ESPN Dallas expects Lance Dunbar to start Thursday's game against the Commanders if Felix Jones (knee) is inactive.

Jones aggravated his knee issue against the Browns last week, missed practice Tuesday and could be headed for a game-time call. Dunbar has been dealing with some knee woes of his own, but he appears to be slightly ahead of Phillip Tanner. They split the first-team reps in practice Tuesday, hinting at a timeshare. It's a situation to avoid if Felix sits.

I don't like the way this game is shaping up.

So we're going to have a new LT, new C, new (but old) G, Free, and a new starting RB?

Hope Felix can tough it out, after the game the Cowboys have 11 days until the next one to rest some players up like Felix but going into a game with a couple of raw RB is a bit scary proposition.

Man if the Boys can beat the Skins with their JV squad that would be impressive. This teams biggest problem has been injuries. They've just been riddled with injuries.

What hurts more is where the injuries take place. Do we have 1 center go down? No we have 2 and have to turn to a 3rd. Do we have 1 RB gow down? No we have 2 go down and have to rely on the 3rd and 4th RB. It is one thing trying to overcome injuries but when the starter and the backup go down it gets very hard.

I'm so excited to see someone other than Felix. I have a feeling Dunbar is going to make it clear he's 2nd best back on this team

Barron Batch was released by Pitt the other day - I would bring him in for a look.

With our O line problems , our running game would be nonexistant even with Emmitt in his prime......Bad feeling about tomorrows game..:(

Dunbar is hardly impressive, but he's all we have at this point.
