Sam Williams has had 4 years to show us something. He has never shown anything more than “potential”.

I agree, it's a no risk deal. I just think it could have waited until they got a real off-ball LB or more secondary help.

Williams would have been around to re-sign later. The timing makes me think they are done at edge because reports today said they wouldn't double down spending there after getting Gary.

There was one face mask by him in 2025. It was against Green Bay. There wes also a defensive holding penalty so the sack wasn’t going to count either way.

But yeah, it was a bad penalty

Still, $3m is nothing at this point.

I’m sure that the signing will bring howls.

Eze was our worst performer but people have him slated for the pro bowl

I agree with you but this team screwed up a lot of development by having 3 different DCs in 3 years. Well….in guess now it’s 4.
