It's like we are cursed. I knew we lost when Butler should've had a TD in the 3rd but Weeden got sacked and we had to settle for 3. Also, a ******** illegal contact on 3rd down turned into 3 points. Those 2 plays were changers for me n I felt then that it's not our day.

The difference is that I actually like the Cowboys. And I'm honest. We didn't lose in OT. We lost in the 3rd quarter.

Can't waste the opportunity for 3 turnovers in our depleted state. Even if they only resulted in 3 pts total the way the game transpired at the end of regulation we would have come out with a tough W.

I mean we lost a coin flip too. It's kinda scary we are losing and it's not cuz of Tony n Dez.

That's what I mean Mahoney. I say it's not our year. We can't catch a break even when we do.

We are missing one of the best QB's and WR's in the game and we're hanging in there. That says far more than losing does.

We are missing major pieces on our core positions. No qb, legit rb or wr on offense is killing us. On D we have the same dline from last year which is bad. No upgrades, Hardy or Gregory.

Bad teams will find ways to lose.

When we are missing both Romo and Dez on offense and we have Captain Check down at the helm...We are lucky are were even competitive and having close game last night.

It's in no way a "Moral" victory or whatever some might call it. But frankly I was shocked we were even in the game at the end and especially after I heard Brees was actually starting. Without Brees I gave us a shot, once he was named starter we turned into a long shot that had little to no chance to win the game but still came within a busted coverage play or coin toss in pulling out a victory.

We win both those games with Romo and Dez.

As long as Weeden plays, we will lose. It's that simple.

Yep.. We are 100% Romo dependent.

Our coaches offer absolutely nothing.

Weeden is just so bad that we can even do conservative passes to keep teams off balance.

Heck... We can't even use misdirection in the run game without Dez and Romo.

We can't even call a pass play on 1st down without Romo.

Just not having Romo is the reason we lost these past 2 games.. Gutless playcalling had nothing to do with it.

This year reminds me of the last few years with Troy Aikman as QB.... Jerry tried to get it right..but the team failed miserably....I just hope it isn't to late to get Romo a ring.

The Cowboys are stuck without any good options behind ROMO... Why, the FO is failing to plan ahead. Weeden, Cassel, and Moore are not the long term answer, not even sure they are a quick fix. How long did it take for the Cowboys to find a QB after Aikman retired in 2001. This team could be facing the same dark days all over again.... the FO needs to wake up and start grooming a future replacement for Romo. ALA....NE -- Jimmy Garoppolo.....DEN --Brock Oswiler

Romo is not done yet, but it is evident they have no answer behind him....reminisce of the last few years in the Aikman Era...

Brees can't throw downfield.

What you saw was a lot of simple passes that were well designed top get guys open.

Does Brandon Weeden suck so bad that he couldn't throw that easy wheel route to Spiller at the end?

We could've called the same type of game plan the Saints used last night and been fine. Brees is basically just facilitating an offense and not out there being a playmaker.

Brees just starting makes that team better than Brees not starting and he makes it better than Weeden starting for the cowboys. End of story.

What I really hate about that asinine statement is that short of the Cowboys winning the SB, haters will apply it. That couild be said about 31 teams at the end of the season. Something will happen that will cause them to lose that last game. That First Take idiot just uses that as a crutch to cover up his sorry eagles.

I agree with that but Brees wasn't throwing downfield...

It was a simple game plan the Saints used but had routes and play designs that got the ball in their guys hands.

What did Dallas do to get guys open? Oh wait.. Throw to T. Will over and over and hope he can win his 1 on 1 matchup.
