Cowboys: Receivers must have a consistent year
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/cowboys-receivers-must-consistent-132451699.html

The Dallas Cowboys’ receiving corps of 2015 only had around 400 or 500-yards less than the group did in 2014, but the obvious change in the stat sheets was the fact that that same group had around 10 touchdowns less than the year before. Does that mean that the receivers had a down year or does it mean that they just didn’t finish on as much of a positive note as they did in 2014?

One crucial statistic that is more on the negative side was the fact that Dez Bryant only had three touchdowns in 2015. Dez had sixteen end zone celebrations in 2014, as the Cowboys made it to the playoffs, where most fans think they deserve to be every year. Another observation could be that the Cowboys didn’t draft any receivers in the 2016 NFL Draft, so you could say that they didn’t bring in any serious help to the receivers on the depth chart. That could be a good or bad thing, depending on how much you could expect the current guys to contribute in 2016.

Dez Bryant has already had a second surgery and is on schedule for an X-ray in the next couple weeks to see how the foot is healing. The Cowboys likely won’t try and rush him back to practice no matter how much good news he gets from his doctors. This is the best way for things to go for a player that gives 110% on the field for his team and his teammates. You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who doesn’t think that he’ll be back on top of the stat lists for Dallas, once the season gets underway...
