First thing I thought. At this point, has to mean that McG will get a lot of reps at CAnd maybe they feel good about Mcgovern being our new Looney.
I believe Baidasz is our starting center. McG won't "get a lot of reps" unless our starter is injured or performs poorly.First thing I thought. At this point, has to mean that McG will get a lot of reps at C

Like a camp QB, they get a lot of snaps but you know damn well nor you or I was talking about that. We are talking about real game reps. Those are all going to Baidasz until he gets injured or performs poorly.Well unless you know they do something crazy and give him some reps during OTA, Training Camp and Preseason or do Starters take all those reps too? ha ha.. of course he will get a lot of reps at Center, if he is their plan to back up the center.
McGovern should be allowed a legitimate chance to compete for C. He was just better than Biadasz last year. "Get the best 5 guys on the field."
He'll probably beat out Connor Williams at Guard.
I doubt it. Williams was good last year.
Nuh uh, my Conner can beat up your Conner because he's a Longhorn. LOLMcGovern played well too and Williams is probably playing his last season in Dallas.

Okay, play dumb.I took the post you responded to as to mean, reps, the poster didn't say in games or starter, he said plenty of reps,, which occur during practice,, which is where the backups get reps at.. never heard of anyone refer to plays in a game as reps, really. In game is referred to as snaps, they have a snap counts, not rep counts, reps stands for repetition, doing things over and over, which again is done in practice,,,so no.. I wasn't and if I had to bet my house, the original poster you responded to wasn't talking about game snaps in a game, but reps, as in practice.
People are assuming this.......this team was rather pleased with Connor Williams last year. He's starting...I think McGovern's chance to start might be at center....and even then I expect Tyler Biadicz to win that. He'll probably beat out Connor Williams at Guard.
Training camp...I believe Baidasz is our starting center. McG won't "get a lot of reps" unless our starter is injured or performs poorly.
Serviceable, not Good....I think McGovern will be the starting left guardI doubt it. Williams was good last year.
not talking about TCTraining camp...
