Cowboys release five players

David Buehler should enter training camp as Dallas' only kicker.

That unsurprising news arrived Tuesday, when the Cowboys dumped Connor Hughes, the only other kicker on the roster. The team also released cornerback Marquis Floyd, wide receiver Rashaun Green, guard Chet Teofilo, and tight end Nick Tow-Arnett.

Dallas has six rookies to sign, and one more player to release to get down to the league mandated 80 players.

I don't even think Hughes barely kicked in the OTAs. He was never healthy.

Based on the OTA reports, i thought Floyd actually had a chance to stick as the 4th CB.
