The Cowboys are releasing safety Jeron Johnson, according to a source. He was signed two weeks ago in part because of his background with Kris Richard in Seattle.

I think you might be right although I really don’t think they want to give ET what he wants. If other teams are interested, I think they would prefer to send him somewhere else. ET has some leverage as he could refuse to talk contract extension with any team he doesn’t want to play for so we will see. I don’t think there is any doubt that Seattle is looking to deal him. First they leak multiple teams are interested and now,they go get a safety. Some type of deal is coming.
