Joking about the term here on the board by the posters is one thing. But cannot you just hear the players in the locker rooms saying stuff like: "Come on guys; we are ROOTED." Then laughing till they have tears in their eyes and their sides hurt.

“Uprooted” becomes the theme after the season.
Exactly, if we’re looking for a new starting QB. Plus we’re going to have a number of free agents that could be gone, including DLaw. Everyone better enjoy the 2024 season because things could start going horribly wrong in 2025. If this season doesn’t go particularly well the Cowboys could be in the basement of the NFC East at the end of the 2025 season.

If anyone should be laughing about anything it shouldn't be the players it should be us. They need to respond to what happened in the last game we played, especially the guys that were involved in that game!!!

I think the theme ought to be to keep your head above water early on when the schedule is tougher and the OL begins to gel.

Six of last nine at home and carry some momentum into the postseason finally….but I suppose they can’t say all that lol.

I’d go with “Buried” as in this season, contract negotiations, and careers.
