Cowboys RG Leonard Davis has a high ankle sprain.

Big interior lineman are more likely than skill players to play through an injury like this, but the 'Boys could opt to play it safe with Davis, who's arguably been their best blocker this season. Dallas hosts Washington on Sunday.

I hope this is not serious. A high ankle sprain can sideline anyone for 2-3 weeks.

I say sit him for this stretch. Don't make him inactive as we need these next two, but it will be better than sitting him vs. GB. Keep him on the sideline in case you need him...

I'm interested in seeing Proctor anyway. If JJ lets Flo walk after this year we might have to deal with seeing Cory at G for the forseeable future. I hope it doesn't work out that way but you might as well test the waters against the Foreskins. We could win this game with third team everything.

I am pretty sure as a lineman with a ton of tape he could go, but seriously its the friggin Commanders, I could play gaurd and we would win. Let him rest, if we lose then play him against the jets, but really the first game that should really matter is gonna be GB. We need that win assuming we don't lose to the skins, if we do lose to them then we really NEED the GB win.

I think we need this game more than we think. We play the skins the last game of the year. We need to be wrapping up home field advantage as soon as possible. This is an inter division game. I would not take this game lightly. I know the skins are beat up.

I know we should walk all over them but it's the skins. Anyone who has been a Cowboys fan for any length of time knows these are always dangerous games for both teams regardless of their records.

As for Davis, if he can go, play him and then rest him against the Jets. We don't need that game as much as this one. Plus I don't think we have as much trouble against them as we possibly could against the redskids.

IF were to lose this game and the giants win they gain a game on us. Have we forgotten our last few games from last year? I don't want to take any chances.

Davis looks fine

Practice access for the media just wrapped up, and G Leonard Davis was a full participant, there for stretcing and bag drills. Wade Phillips seemed unsure whether he would play, and there's certainly a chance that Davis will be held back in the closed part of practice, but he looked ready to go in the part that Cowboys Blog viewed.
Everyone except Terry Glenn was there, and no one was held out, though CB Anthony Henry was still playing a "sub packages" role. And here's one last nugget: Rookie LB Justin Rogers seemed to be playing the role of Chris Cooley for the look team. They had him flanked out on Roy Williams during defensive passing skeleton work.

99% of the forum is against moving Bigg to LT, but that sure as heck doesn't mean the organization is against it, so i agree with you. And how do zoners sitting on their duffs know Bigg won't do just fine at LT and Proctor just fine at OG? Because people said Bigg didn't do well with AZ at LT? Give me a break, AZ can make a HOFer look bad. Everyone all of a sudden thinks Wade is worth more than Jason, but when Wade called Bigg the best LT the Chargers faced, it gets brushed under the rug and all of a sudden the Zoners know more than Wade.
