...Downtown Cleveland was literally awash in blue on Sunday afternoon as Cowboys fans nearly outnumbered Browns fans. The biggest cheers were for Ezekiel Elliott, the former Ohio State star, who returned to the Buckeye State and thrilled his fans with 2 touchdown runs as well as 92 yards rushing on just 18 carries.
Elliott could have topped 100, but he and other starters were pulled late in the 4th quarter as the Cowboys ran out the final 7:48 on the clock to seal the victory.
How dominating were the Cowboys in Cleveland?
* The Browns only ran 14 plays in the entire 2nd half. That’s because they only had three possessions, with just one possession in the 4th quarter that lasted only 3 plays.
