Cowboys rookie DT, Tommy Akingbesote, 2 Elite Traits that make him a sneaky run stopper

Log off. Don't return until the Cowboys reach a conference championship game. Problems of frustration solved.
It's a good thought....but with the constant need of reality checks and education in here, I can't just selfishly do that.

I have to be here to at least TRY to lead people to a normal, logical view of things. I mean, kindergarten teachers probably get frustrated when they can't teach their students to tie their shoes or not pee their pants....but they just don't quit.

It’s like posters in here want nothing but negative thoughts negative posts the entire roster is guilty of being bums surrender the basement to the Giants already .

The Cowboys were accused of abandoning the DT position so they re signed OSA for lots od $$ they brought in a FA plus drafted 2 more all this to go along with the guy they invested a 1 in. Before the poison pen comes out can we see if it’s improved ?

I happen to think posters who attach clips of players adds to the board . Not everyone has seen tons of Jay Toia film at DT or Phil Mafah run people over at Clemson . It gives you hope that the roster might be upgrading .

Many of us will post positive when positive things actually happen

The overwhelming majority of the board was elated when we aquired Pickens because he is a PROVEN NFL commodity.

Its hyperbole to accuse us of saying the entire roster is full of bums but when our GM signs mostly former busts from other teams or over the hill players, there's no positivity in that.

We stay measured concerning the rookies because they are NFL untested.

As for the Giants, who knows? They had a crappy roster and they hinge their future mostly on rookies.

Also, where's the positivity in a HC that is a first timer and was not coveted by any other NFL team?......I say give him a chance but experience counts for something

Agree. Multi-media. Content is king as they say. Too much whiney nonsense. Not enough substance.

He could have been pushed down for the same reason the thousands of other 6th and 7th rounders and UDFAs get "pushed down" over the years: there were 150 or so guys better than him in the draft He came out in.
Oh I agree with that. My point was a strong DT class counted for many more DT's than usual so a good one STILL was available. See how that works

Gee Shanahan was a “ first timer “ so was so Andy Reid at Philly Siriani at Philly Ben Johnson Chicago McVey LA i mean you got to start your career as a HC somewhere .

:huh:

His upside is versatility and he has some pass rush quickness that may translate to other areas of Eberflus scheme.
Good looking player ,looks like he has some versatility to his game for sure.He is big and moves well for his size,he may be able to put pressure on the QB from up the middle.Could be a gem in the 7th round, he and Toia both.

You never see him driven off the ball.
He extends his arms and gets off blocks.
He’s not as big as Toia, but he is an excellent run player and much more athletic.
I’ll be shocked if he isn’t on the 53 man roster.

New coaches getting players who fit their schemes and desired play are much more likely to let guys like Rodgers go.
Athletic strong with long arms,he is looking for the ball carrier and is good at getting off blocks .

Akingbesote will fit Eberflus' scheme very well. The more I watch him, the more I think I might like him even more than Toia even though I like Toia too.
It would be sweet to have found two good Defensive Tackles in the 7th round.D tackles were deep in the draft like Running Backs were.

cowboys like their own, so we signed Osa. who was the 22nd best DT I believe or something to that effect.
we signed a bunch of JAGs, 7th rounders and UDFA....and you expect to find gold in the pile of *****. and call it a day.

so people need to stop pumping up all these players gushing, salivating and getting a man hard on for them, until they play and then we can make claims or excuses. up to this point as one poster said.
Blue = Sanders
Mafah = Henry
Toia = Wilkinson
Pickens = WR God
Eze = faster version of TJ Watt
Akingbesote = special
LBs we signed = Awsomeness

did I miss anybody?
