Without Demarco Murray, without Tony Romo and Dez Bryant and any legitimate threat of a passing game, the Dallas Cowboys are 7th in the NFL in rushing yards per game despite being 20th in rushing attempts (bye week).

The biggest question I would have for Garrett and Linehan is why they didn't rely on the run more in this 4 game losing streak. Makes very little sense to me why they put so much on the shoulders of both Weeden and Cassel, especially as the defense has improved greatly.

When the Steelers won their super bowls, I think Roethlisberger averaged something like 22 attempts per game. We've been asking these backups to do closer to 30 attempts per game...

A lot of people wanted to start Collins from the get go, myself included. A lot of people wanted to start McFadden over Randle, myself included. I don't want to suggest that either of these things would have necessarily changed our record, but I think they could have really helped. I think focusing on McFadden and giving him the lionshare instead of Randle makes for a more consistent and explosive offense and I think we saw that today.

I think rolling with McFadden with this offensive line featuring Collins rather than Leary and asking Cassel to do the minimum with this defense has the ability to win games in this league.

I think Byron Jones should have started at free safety, and I think everyone knew that, but this coaching staff is so averse to giving anyone a shot. McFadden was a free agent, so Randle had to be given the job because he was here longer, despite McFadden being a proven player in this league who was just in a terrible environment. We would have never had the Miles Austin era if Roy Williams never got hurt. These coaches are just clueless, but they're NFL coaches they know more than we do... That's the line that we keep hearing. They still won't get Escobar involved in the offense and mix things up. I actually liked Linehan's risk taking in this game, especially in the running game, but the risks too often came at the wrong times.

Going forward I need to see that McFadden is the starter with no appearance of Randle continuing. RBC is over. It's McFadden as the #1 with Michael and Randle coming in to spell. Especially when Romo and Bryant return.

We need to get Dez out there to help out making every WR more dangerous.
Leave McFadden as number 1 RB and use Randel as backup spotting him in like last year.
