I like Dalton in the late rds. He is a 4 year starter but really played well in his last 2 season. He has a decent arm

I like Dalton a lot as a developmental prospect in the 4th or later. I think McGee gas shown improvement, but he just doesn't elicit confidence for me when I watch him; he's so mechanical back there. Perhaps he makes a big jump this season.

Apparently Jason Garrett spent alot time watching him during Senior Bowl practices. That was the report on this board.

Productive college player. Would be a great back up.. Not sure if he has a lot upside as starter in the NFL

But i'm a huge TCU fan, so i'm rooting for him.

Really, I don't think Dalton is as good a prospect as McGee. Dalton isn't that great physically; his main attraction is the intangibles. But McGee had the same kind of thing going, and is a better athlete.

Cowboys expected to work out Dalton

The Cowboys told Andy Dalton they expect to set up a private workout with him soon. The TCU quarterback worked out for 26 teams, including the Cowboys, at his school's Pro Day on Friday. Dallas scouts Walter Juliff and Chris Hall both were at the Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility.
