Devin was a pure athelete in high school. Played RB and CB.

Its funny because his twin brother Jason was always a better football player and Devin was a better basketball player.

Jason was drafted in the 6th round by the Titans last year and Devin is projected in rounds 1-2. That redshirt year must have helped.

As Scandrick has proven, play special teams a lot and you can have a great bonus check in the spring! :)

As a Rutgers alum, I never thought I'd live to see the day where they could produce 2 potential first rounders.

I wouldn't draft him in the first but IF he dropped to us in the second and we don't draft defensively in the first round I would take him in the second because we could definately use his explosiveness on kickoffs but to draft him in the first to even think about it I would have to watch alot of tape on his coverage ability. If he has some good man on man skills that would be great across from Jenkins and Newman. I definately think a CB is an area in which we could improve. Newman I think is coming onto a decline in his career and Jenkins is coming onto his peak if we could get another young guy that would be great.

Devin McCourty is exactly the type of player that Dallas likes, basically he's a more athletic Mike Jenkins.

More athletic? Mike Jenkins is about as athletic as they come...

They have the same 40 time (4.38), McCourty has a better 20 yard split, a higher vert, a better broad jump, a better 20 yard shuttle and a better 3 cone drill time.

He's also an inch and a half taller.

Jenkins has a better 10 yard split and 2 more reps on bench.

Jenkins is about as athletic as the come, but McCourty is even more athletic.
