Interesting. Although if he is serious of playing professional football, he should try to play a year in college to get the snaps. Baylor is trying a basketball player out at tight end next season who was a solid player but is built more like a football player (not as good as Rico in basketball, but will be a guy who will be interesting to watch).

In addition, Baylor had a transfer in Demetri Goodson, who was a starting point guard at Gonzaga but came to Baylor to play football for a year. He was drafted as a CB by the Packers and I think he is still in the NFL.

As a huge UK fan, I would love this. Dominique Hawkins is a bulldog. However, I realize the odds of him playing in the NFL are about as slim as they get.

I guess you can never have enough basketball players. Reminds me when we used to collect former baseball pitchers and try to make QBs out of them. Next up, sumo wrestler nose tackles.

Was just thinknig about that, they went from baseball pitchers and now basketball players...they had a few golfers too...LOL...
Yeah, what group is next. They can bring in some hockey thug players to take out a few QB's....some nice body checks....

Bet, Dallas will have the best pick-up game in the NFL...even our 'smurfs' can dunk a basketball.

That's actually an idea I could get behind. They are probably ahead of the curve in hand-technique. Just don't expect them to run a sub-10 second 40.

Well his 44 1/2" vertical matches Byron Jones.

I'm glad to see that we are looking for talent by any means necessary. One thing is probably true, he won't be drafted in the NBA and will have to go overseas for that. Or he can go back to his high school roots and play football.
