UCLA at USC

Clubs attending: Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles,Chicago Bears.

Three top players: UCLA (DL Kenny Clark, CB Ishmael Adams, RB Paul Perkins); USC (LB Su'a Cravens, QB Cody Kessler, CB Adoree' Jackson).

Matchup to watch: Perkins and Cravens will have their share of encounters in this Pac-12 rivalrygame, and a talented offensive line will have its hands full with Clark.

Ishmael Adams is an intriguing player. Think he got in trouble for beating up an Uber driver.

Kessler is a player who is steady smart and strong. I think he runs an offense with command. I think the biggest knock agains him is he isn't a flashy player. I think this is a guy that you look at in the 3rd if you have a chance to draft Elliot or Ramsey 1st and lose out on the other top QBs.

I know Kenny Clark's high school coach so I've been watching him for a while. I think he falls in the "we don't value the 1Tech high" category.

Su'a Cravens is a less physical but more athletic Kam Chancellor.

I've been told the Cowboys have inquired about Zack Banner (Lincoln Kennedy's son) a few times.

I like Cody Kessler, but I would not touch him until the 5th round at the earliest. I think he could develop into a solid backup, but certainly not a franchise QB you can build around for the next 10-15 years imo. He likely goes in the later rounds.

Su'a Cravens is another player I really like out of USC who might be there when we pick in the 2nd. Is a SS/LB hybrid right now but will likely play OLB in the NFL. Talented young player at 6'1 225 lbs.

I'm not touching him at all if it was up to me. His stock is plummeting because he lacks the tools. QBs don't have to have great tools at their disposal, but the need to be able to hit the throws. He probably has a worse arm then Cassel does currently which says a lot. Kessler and Cook are off my board (Cook for different reasons) and Hackenberg I wouldn't touch before the 4th (massive project with accuracy issues). I really only like 4-5 QBs in the draft.
