Zierlein's matchup to watch: Alabama CB Marlon Humphrey vs. USC WR JuJu Smith-Schuster. This is the matchup that will have all of the scouts buzzing in the press box. Humphrey, a redshirt sophomore, has the physical tools that scouts crave, but his technique is a work in progress after only one year of major college football. Smith-Schuster needs to show scouts that he has improved his ability to create separation and open throwing windows. My prediction is that Smith-Schuster gets the best of this matchup thanks to his confidence and ability to make the contested catch.

Unless you live near the stadium then it becomes a major league arse whooping. I had to run to the store this morning at 8 am and it was already a madhouse. Add in the fact that the Rangers play at 3 pm today and..... ugh Might walk down to the stadium later and check out the tailgate parties.

I gripe but, in all truth, it's not that bad if you pay attention and plan ahead. Yes it's a pain on game days when it's not a good idea to go running around town. The upside is friends can park here for free and save $50 or so. Downside is if I run out of beer I'm out until tomorrow morning

key word is 'if'. That's nuts you live that close. I've never been there so can't even imagine. I'd have a hard time sleeping knowing all that was right outside.

To be totally honest the only time it becomes a real beating is when I can't take my dogs to the park because they close it 7 hours before every event.

Strangely enough Cowboys game day traffic isn't all that bad based on my locale. It's a pretty easy loop to Wallie world and back home pre game. Rangers opening day and college games are a complete arse whip. My THEORY is that most of the people going to the Cowboys games are season ticket holders and know where to park while Rangers and college football fans aren't familiar with the area so they have to be 'guided' with road blocks and traffic cops. Live here long enough and you learn how to avoid that nonsense.

Something that surprises me constantly is that people haven't figured out how to bypass most of the traffic to the parking areas. It's actually pretty simple but it doesn't show up on any map program I've found because you have to drive through a couple of parking lots

We're not staying here much longer though. We're tired of the city and want to get out where we can breathe a bit.
