Your thread title says 'Cowboys season still on'. I made a comment about how that became possible. You call it trolling because you appear to be a Dak lover. I call it a factual statement.

Explain to me how what I said pins any blame on Dak. All I said is that it took him getting hurt for the team to start playing better.

Dakota fans are still butthurt . They don't know football , and are certainly not Cowboy Fans . They're only happy when Dakota is playing and stinking up the field . at 6-7, over last 13 games including the Niner loss .

But it’s not like Rush is going to replace Dak or is our QB of the future. He had a great game but teams will better plan for him moving forward. Most importantly we look like we could win a couple games with him. Which keeps us in contention until Dak returns. And why the season could still be on. Cowboy fans have to be excited.

I've been trying to cheer up some people.....but they want to wallow in this made up QB controversy. We should be "ecstatic" (the very word I used).....we just stomped a bona fide super bowl contender's jaw in the curb....and we sit here bickering about it. CRAZY!

It's fun to imagine Coop doing so well...but it's not worth fighting amongst ourselves about it. Both sides need to chill out.

What you saw yesterday was pretty much Rush's ceiling: 20 points and a last second win. You can win a few games with that in this watered down league, but don't make Super Bowl reservations just yet.

The more I think about it the more I'm convinced the entire team wasn't ready to play last week against the Bucs and yes that includes Dak. You could see a different level of energy and confidence against the Bengals.

Our wins have to be like typical John Fox coached teams. Boring but can grind out close last minute wins.

We cannot Air Coryell ourselves with current team.

Yesterdays tremendous performance completely could change our course from where most of us thought we were heading after last week heading in this game.

We were talking 0-2, 0-3 or worse, possibly struggling to win any games while our starting QB was out. Now with this stout defense and backup QB making enough plays we appear to have more potential winnable games ahead of us with a realistic chance of hovering around .500 . Which should keep us in contention.
