Cowboys seem to be putting in more effort for Asst coaches than our head coach?

The head coach has a lot to do with the new coaching hires and it appears that the head coach is off to a good start with his selections.

That's what I'm wondering. Are they actually allowing Shotty to choose his own staff? If so, that's something to be hopeful for.
