I don't hate the pick in the 5th round, but he's not going to be a 3-down workhorse in the NFL. This is what you're left with in round 5. CBS for example has him rated as the 25th best RB in the draft. You get what you pay for. 6 RB's went off the board in round 4 alone. He'll be fun to watch though.

It's not a question of what I think. It's a matter of what experts who actually study and evaluate the players think. I guarantee they know a lot more than either you or I.

Yes. Tony Dorsett was previously the fastest ever Cowboy at RB with a 4.30 40 time. Jaydon Blue is now the fastest with his Pro Day's 4.25 & 4.28 times.

He was because he had to be. The Jones Boys thought it was still 2016 when they brought Zeke back and thought they could use him and Dowdle the same way they used Pollard and Dowdle.

What do they think they are doing with the rb room? Why are we drafting a finesse back to be our rb1? Home runs are cool and all, but we really need a downhill runner who consistently picks up yards ala Demarco Murray. A finessey back isn't going to get us 3rd down on 3rd and short or be the one that puts us in those 3rd and shorts in the first place. I'm not mad we took Jaydon Blue in the 5th round. I'm concerned with the notion that we're going to have an rb group with small backs.

Walker was always interesting to me, if you look at him, all he is looking at is the endzone. His straight line speed was incredible, but you will never see him looking around.

He was huge and fast, and never worried about DBs. We don't have anyone in the NFL right like Bo Jackson, Walker, and such. Times back then were not anywhere near as accurate as they are now, but all you have to do is look at the other players chasing him. He is blowing their angles on him everywhere, as they think they can get him with the angle they took.

Bro, Cowboys took 6'1", 230 lbs, 1,100+ rushing yards, 4.55 40 time, 5.2 ypc average bellcow in Clemson RB, Phil Mafah.

With the combo of Mafah (Thunder) and Blue (Lightning), the Cowboys rushing attack is going to do just fine.
