In fine with Smith for one more year. Both he and LVE will be gone next year unless they both show tremendous resultsSounds like great value but I have bad news for you guys that think Jaylon's $7.2 guaranteed salary and $16m dead cap hit is getting cut.....
The Cowboys finally found their next Darren Woodson!
It shouldntThis pick I really, really like. Getting Cox at 115 makes up for the two reaches at the end of the third round for me.
Dallas has already done better today than late yesterday.
yeah we are stuck with smith the next two seasons. just have to live with it. cox will be a good rotation player and give smith a break. cox can also play special teams well too. They’ve already guaranteed his salary for next year. Time to cut him was March
wow, nutty.
3?GREAT pick
A lot of crying but we’ve drafted 3 starters.
Tweeners tend to drop. JOK was drafted R2-20. The majority of draft analysts had him ranked (based on pure talent) in the top half of round 1. He dropped because he might not hold up physically as a full time LB and NFL teams get skittish early in the draft if they think a prospect might be a part-time player. If everyone would be fine with his medical he would not have dropped that far. Hes a 2nd Round Talent easily
I think I'd rather take the Doctor's word on his shoulder and not a scoutSome scouts think his shoulder will never heal. We stay the way of high risk high reward but i dont mind these picks in the 4th. IF we just had a better Round 3.
yes for sure but doesnt mean JS and LVE are gone as starters for 21.. thats ludicrous.. they now will be pushed and will have to earn that starter role because they have some players now that could wally pip them..make them expendable in 2022..I guess it’s safe to say LVE’s option won’t be picked up on Monday?
If his Shoulder ever heals. According to Rappoport most Teams believe his shoulder will never heal again to let him play and make an impact
Let's see, cut after June 1st cost us 6.5 million this year and 10 million next year. Don't think so.Bye bye Jaylon Smith... calling it now... June 1st cut
I’m just going to pretend this was our 3rd round selection. Awesome player
mot happening.. hes her until 2022 for sure..lets see what Quinn thinks they have otas, MCs, and preseason to start these judgements.LVE and JS are not just going to be thrown aide by rookies, those rookies will have to prove they are healthy, know the playbook, handle adjustments, make the right reads, and come out on fire and make plays...Bye bye Jaylon Smith... calling it now... June 1st cut
