Reminds me (size wise) of La'Roi Glover one of the best (if not the best) Free Agents the Boys ever had.
If he's half the player La'Roi was then he'll be pretty good!
What's the difference from Donald playing at 282 and Osa . . . of course Osa is not as Dominant but the Most Dominant DT plays at the same weight.

Osa is an undefeated heavy Wright Wrestler . . . His game is leverage

Per Dane Brugler, Osa was a 3 time state champion wrestler in high school.

OG Carlton Haselrig

Didn't play college football.
Pro Bowl in 3rd season.
Wrestling: NCAA-record 122 consecutive matches without a loss. He never lost a match at the NCAA Division I meet, going 15-0 at the heavyweight class in the 1987, 1988 and 1989 tournaments.
While in college Haselrig defeated future NCAA and Olympic champion Kurt Angle.

Indeed speed and leverage and he has good arm length 34 inches.
Now if we could add a nice big 1 tech, we could improve the DL quite a bit and keep our LB crew clean to make plays.

I really like the Osa pick. The only knock is “value” like could be have been gotten later? But we will never truly know the answer to that.

But it’s astonishing to me. That fans can watch our DT’s play and then be mad that they drafted another DT with Osa’s skill set. As if Trysten Hill and Gallimore have proven anything and their roster spots should be safe. Lol

Exactly, a fat man can still be had. . . Osa looks good and has a good head on his shoulders, thanks to his brothers guidance.

I think the biggest gripe with Him is the Cowboys past of not investing in a 300 lb lineman

Did we need to take a “Crawford replacement” right there with better players on the board?

Crawford Replacement? How do you just regurgitate someone else's BS? Crawford was a not a great run defender and he wasn't good rushing the passer in the nickel.

Crawford did not have 34'1/2 inch arms at 6'2 285 lbs.

Worst comparison of all-time

You can have all the leverage in the world but still get ball rushed and frankly outmuscled by much bigger O linemen.

Exactly who we should NOT have picked.

Dallas doesn't realize they have to play the run one of these days to win.

The notion some have that you need to weigh 400 pounds to play run defense is comical.

"No interior defensive lineman was more dominant at the Senior Bowl than Odighizuwa. He was the highest-graded player at the position both during the week of practice and in the game itself, winning with power and quickness. Odighizuwa also has four seasons of solid-run defense grades on his resume from his time at UCLA. He addresses a clear area of need for Dallas. Their defensive tackles were regularly blown off the ball in 2020."
