Cowboys should draft nothing but safeties and pass rushers in 2014

Enough is enough. Unfortunately, even drafting that many safeties and pass rushers next year will probably be too late. This should have been addressed in 2011.

And that would leave us where exactly on OL and at RB?

To clarify my post, trading up could get perhaps 2 safeties and 2 pass rushers in the earlier rounds. We obviously wouldn't draft 6-7 safeties and pass rushers.

Maybe in the later rounds. No more than 3 draft picks.

I see.
So how many OL that Dallas has taken in the later rounds in the last 10+ years actually amounted to anything?
In addition we already have several later round/free agent RBs.
How are they doing?

I think it's one of those better-than-nothing situations. Not ideal, but safety and pass rush are the top priorities.

From my point of view, we've so many holes, this next draft should probably be BPA in most rounds.
