I thought about that....but here is the problem....So you want to move Collins to Right Tackle?...I'm all for sitting Doug Free...But I'm also big on continuity w/in the O-line. Don't think you want to be jacking w/ that one week before the season.

Jets waived TE Jace Amaro.
The No. 49 overall pick of the 2014 draft, Amaro bombed as a rookie before missing all of last season with a shoulder injury. He caught five passes for 35 yards this preseason. He's getting released from one of the league's thinnest tight end corps. It's not a good sign for his future. Still only 24, Amaro will get a second chance, perhaps even directly off waivers, but he's no longer a Dynasty league consideration. Sep 3 - 1:57 PM

You just ran off a list of about 50% of the entire leagues cuts.

Doubt he would come here to just sit....and collect a check. Besides I doubt we could afford him anyway. Somebody is gonna pony up for him. 49ers, Browns and Jags still have over 40 million in cap space. He's gonna get paid.

Yeah, but they also used a 5th round pick on Battle, and cut him less than two months later. And now, twice. And from a team that apparently kept David Arkin on their roster!

There were reports on his 'coachability' and they may have been accurate. But I'd take a look for myself if I could.

Why? Why are any of these players better than what we have now. Can I get some comparison / analysis of each player to our own players?
Why make changes just to make changes, as most fans want to do. I can see concerns on some, but at this point, it does nothing. Maybe a few churn spots after game one.

The Rod Smith on our team is a RB / FB, the WR Rod Smith was released.
And you want an OL over our back up QB...not until, Sanchez in in place.
